Slade Paces SSU at SCSU Bulldog Classic

ORANGEBURG, S.C.- Spencer Slade shot a 69 to lead Savannah State to a second place finish in the South Carolina State Bulldog Classic played at Hillcrest Golf Course.
Slade finished two strokes behind Bethune-Cookman's Troy Coker, who was tournament low medalist on the par 72 course that stretches 6,722 yards.
SSU finished tied for second with Florida A&M in the rain-shortend tournament behind the Wildcats. Bethune-Cookman won with a score of 289 while the Tigers and Rattlers posted a 292.
Savannah State's Corey Brown tied three other players for third place with a 71 and Zac Gelow's 75 tied him for 14th.
